Data Deletion

How to remove your data from our radio apps — on your device, or by asking us.

This page explains how you can delete data related to your use of iHippo Studio radio apps (“the App”).

01Overview

Our radio apps do not require an account, and we do not collect your name, email address or phone number. Most of your data, such as favorites and recent searches, is stored only on your device, so you can delete it yourself at any time.

02Delete data stored on your device

This removes your favorite stations, recent searches, theme mode and notification settings.

  1. Open your device’s Settings › Apps.
  2. Select the iHippo Studio radio app.
  3. Tap Storage & cache › Clear storage, or simply uninstall the App.

03Reset or delete your advertising ID

Google AdMob uses your device’s advertising ID to show and measure ads. You can reset or delete it at any time:

  1. Open your device’s Settings.
  2. Go to Security & privacy › More privacy settings › Ads (or Google › Ads on some devices).
  3. Tap Delete advertising ID or Reset advertising ID.

You can also change your ad consent choice in the App under Settings › Ad privacy settings (when available in your region).

04Request deletion from us

If you would like us to delete any data related to your use of the App, including analytics or crash data held through Google Firebase, email us with the subject “Data Deletion Request”. Please include:

  • The name of the App
  • Your device model
  • A short description of what you would like deleted

We will process your request within 30 days and confirm by email.

Send a deletion request

05Data deleted automatically

  • Stream failure reports contain only a station identifier and a time, and are deleted after 90 days.
  • Analytics, crash and advertising data collected by Google is deleted according to Google’s retention policies.
  • Settings on your device are deleted when you clear the App’s data or uninstall the App.

06Data held by third parties

Radio stations receive your IP address when you play them, and Apple receives song titles when the App looks up artwork. We do not control this data. Please contact those services directly; their own privacy policies apply. See our Privacy Policy for details.
